What makes me a good coach is that I’ve never been a great athlete. I have no varsity letters, no state titles, no college teams in my pedigree.
What I have is a desire to do epic shit, a hard head, and an ability to relentlessly solve problems.
That’s allowed me to study and work my way through sets of problems that many coaches never encounter, and engage with the challenges of my athletes from a place of experience and compassion.
